According to the initiators of the campaign, office workers spend almost 80% of their time sitting. This results in fatal consequences in the form of back pain, degeneration of the cervical vertebrae, and migraine attacks. Long-term sitting increases the risk of many very serious diseases. These include cardiovascular ailments, cancer and type 2 diabetes.

According to the initiators of the campaign, people who perform sedentary work are also at risk of high blood pressure and obesity. This is due to their low physical activity in the performance of their daily professional duties. This causes an increase in blood pressure and makes it difficult to burn the accumulated fat effectively.
