Anti Static Anti Stat Pop mats are the basic way to protect ESD sensitive objects by creating a grounding path that reduces the electrical potential of all materials and people to a common level. Workplaces that protect against electrostatic charges with a grounding resistance of 106 to 109 Ω have surfaces that have the same electrical potential as other objects in a given area of work.

In order to create a workplace protected from static electricity and meeting the requirements of IEC61340-5-1 or ANSI EOS / ESD 6.1 standards, all conductive objects in a given place, including people, should be connected to a point with the same ground potential, creating a balance between objects and people.

Technical characteristics of the product:

• For underlaying components sensitive to electrostatic charges
• Optional female 10 mm socket attached to the mat for connection to the recommended common grounding wire (*).
• Meets EOS / ESD-S4, measured resistance for working surfaces Rg 107 Ω and Rp 108 Ω.
• The electrostatic charge (walking test) meets the ISO6356 and EN1815 standards.
