Instructions for installing flip matting for playgrounds:

Inflatable matting - Safe playground surfacing

1. clean the surface for the mats, cut the grass short.

2. mark the surface to be covered with the mats 3.

3. filler mats are 1.5m x 1m. Plan the distribution of the mats to avoid

Before placing the filler mats the area should be levelled and any depressions in the soil should be filled in with soil.

On soft, sandy or muddy terrain it is recommended to lay leveling net.

8. the mats should be connected by means of clamps (triptychs) every 20 cm along the edge of the mat. Trim the loose ends of the ties or tuck them under the mat. The corners of the mats should be joined using two ties. 9.

9. edges: Fold back the edge of the mat (approx. 15cm) and dig a hole approx. 5cm deep. (Fig. 1)

Fold the edge of the mat back into place and fix with a peg. (Fig. 2)

11. use pegs at the corners and in the middle of the width of each hypertrophic mat.

Cover the outer edges of the mats with soil to level the surface and hide the edges. Sow grass.

Make sure that the edges of the mats are firmly fixed. Unused pegs can, if necessary, be used to secure the mats and prevent the area from lifting.

Tools required:

- Gloves - for handling and laying the mats

- Knife or pruning shears - for cutting mats and leftover zip ties

- Rubber mallet - for driving in pegs

Care:

- Take extra care when mowing the grass. Make sure that the mower blades are

raised when ascending and descending from a mat-lined area.
